Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Ezer General Trading FZC collects when you use this website or send us an inquiry, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read rather than to hide behind.

This website is operated by Ezer General Trading FZC, a free zone company registered in the Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates; the Sri Lankan side of the business is Jonash Parts (PVT) LTD, Ragama, Sri Lanka. What this policy covers

It covers this website and the inquiries we receive through it, by email and on WhatsApp. It does not cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Ezer General Trading FZC.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect the details you enter in the form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, country, vehicle details, the part you need, quantity, and any VIN, chassis number or notes you choose to add. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we keep that message and the contact details in it. Our hosting provider also records standard technical information, such as the page requested and the time of the request, in server logs.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, and a parts inquiry never needs them.

Why we use your details

We use your details to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange the shipment if you decide to go ahead. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send offers you did not ask for. If we need a detail we do not have — an engine code, a photo, a measurement — we ask for it in the same conversation.

Your consent and the form

The quote form carries this line under the submit button: “By submitting this form you agree to our Privacy Policy. We use your details only to respond to your inquiry.” Sending the form is your permission for us to contact you about that request, and nothing more. You can withdraw that permission at any time by writing to jonashparts@gmail.com.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and does not remember a language preference between visits; the language is chosen by the address you visit. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts in this version of the site, so there is no tracking cookie to accept or refuse. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Who we share it with

We share details only where they are needed to answer or fulfil your request: with the supplier or trader holding the part, and with the freight or courier company carrying the shipment. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone for advertising. We may disclose information where the law of the United Arab Emirates requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for as long as we need them to answer the request and to keep a record of any order that follows, then delete them. You can ask us to delete an inquiry sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it. Access is limited to the people who answer inquiries.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to jonashparts@gmail.com and tell us what you want; we may ask a question or two to confirm we are speaking to the right person. We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection law in the United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka.

Security

Inquiries are held in a password-protected mailbox, and only the people who answer them have access. No website or email system can promise perfect security, so please do not send card details or other sensitive information through the form. If you believe a message you sent us has been exposed, tell us and we will look into it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we update this page and the date shown with it. Material changes are described here rather than made quietly, so the policy always reflects what the site actually does.
