How to import car parts from Dubai to Sri Lanka

PublishedNovember 1, 2026

Dubai and Ajman are transit hubs for auto parts: parts from Europe and North America pass through the UAE trade before they reach buyers across Asia. That is why a part that is hard to find in Sri Lanka is often sitting in a UAE warehouse. This guide explains how an order moves from your parts list to your door, and what to send so the first quote is the right one.

Do you ship car parts from Dubai to Sri Lanka?

Yes. We source in the UAE and ship to Sri Lanka, which is the only market we serve. Parts are bought from the Dubai and Ajman trade, checked before dispatch, and shipped direct to the customer rather than through a local middleman. You send the request, we quote it with freight to Sri Lanka included.

How does the process work?

The sequence is short and always the same:

  1. Send your parts list with the vehicle details, by WhatsApp, email or the quote form.
  2. We come back with a quote that names each part, its quality tier, and the freight to your door in Sri Lanka.
  3. You confirm the lines you want.
  4. We source, pack and ship the order from the UAE.
  5. We share tracking on request once the shipment is on its way.

What should my parts list include?

  • Make, model and year for each vehicle.
  • Engine code and VIN or chassis number where you have them.
  • Part name and part number for each line, or a photo of the old part.
  • Position: front or rear, left or right.
  • Quantity per line, and whether the parts are for one job or to hold as inventory.
  • Any deadline the job is running to, so the quote can be built around it.
  • Where in Sri Lanka the shipment is going.

A list in a message is fine. A spreadsheet is better if you order in bulk, because it keeps the lines and quantities in one place.

Is freight included in the quote?

Yes. The price you receive covers the part and the freight to your address in Sri Lanka, so there is no separate shipping invoice later. Where size, weight or the nature of a part changes the picture, the quote says so on the line rather than after you have confirmed. That single number is what you compare against a local price.

How long does delivery take?

Timing depends on how quickly the part can be sourced, whether it travels by air or sea, and how long clearance takes at your end, so we confirm it with the quote rather than before. Once the shipment is moving, tracking is shared on request. We would rather give you one timing we can stand behind than a promise made to win the order.

Do I need to be a registered business to order?

No. Most of our customers are garages, workshops and parts traders, and the site is written for them, but an individual owner orders the same way: send the vehicle details and the part, and we quote it with freight included. No account, minimum order or trade registration is needed to ask for a price.

Can I combine parts for several vehicles in one order?

Yes. Send the whole list at once and we quote it as one shipment where the parts allow it, which usually works out better than several small consignments. Bulky items such as body panels, glass or a complete gearbox can change the freight, and when they do, the quote shows it line by line.

What about customs duty and taxes in Sri Lanka?

Duty and local taxes are set by the Sri Lankan authorities and are not part of our quote, so confirm the current rates with your clearing agent before you order. Ask us what documentation travels with your shipment when you request the quote, and we will confirm it for that consignment. We do not quote duty rates, because they change and they are not ours to set.

Can you source a part I cannot find locally?

Often, yes. The UAE trade carries European and American parts that are no longer available in smaller markets, and a photo plus the VIN is usually enough to start a search. Send what you have: a part number, a description, or a picture of the old part in place. If nothing can be found, we say so rather than leave the request open.

How do I track the shipment?

Tracking is shared on request once the order has shipped. If you need an update before then, message us with the quote reference and we will check where the order is. For a workshop waiting on a vehicle, that is usually simpler than watching a tracking page refresh.

Why source from the UAE rather than locally?

Range and price tier. The UAE trade holds European and American parts in genuine, OE, OEM and quality used form, so one request can cover a job that would otherwise need several suppliers. Shipping direct also removes a layer of local markup, and freight to Sri Lanka is part of the quote rather than a surprise at the end.

How do I start an order?

Send the list through the quote form, on WhatsApp or by email, and we’ll respond as soon as possible. If you are still gathering details, the Land Rover parts page and the drivetrain category show the kind of components we source, and the shipping page explains how freight is handled.
